U.S.I. honors many scholars at Top 100 Program
The 47th annual Rotary Top 100 Program on May 22, 2008 was the setting for United Scholarships, Inc. awarding to the class of 2008 $102,500 in direct scholarship monies. During the 2007/2008 school year $48,000 was also awarded for continuing education. Additionally, more than $40,000 was awarded through other local scholarships.

Continuing education funds awarded
USI also awards funds for continuing education. September 15, 2008 will be the deadline for the 2008/09 applications for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year college students to apply for continuing education monies. This past year over $40,000 was awarded. Any Yreka High School graduate who is still in college and doing well in his/her studies is encouraged to apply.
Those wishing to memorialize a friend or family member who has passed away is welcome to make a contribution to USI at P.O. Box 1328, Yreka, CA 96097. Please state who should receive the acknowledgement of the gift. All gifts are tax deductible.
